I've found Loop Habit Tracker, which, if it had habits you could track multiple times a day and the ability to create checkmark lists would be perfect. Unfortunately, it does not offer these functionalities. Basically, I'm looking for exactly Habitica -- without all the gaming aspects. Maybe look into Todoist. There's a whole rabbit hole here on reddit about the controversy if you search. Something about the main people not treating their volunteers with respect and gratitude, and the volunteers said they were a huge reason why habitica became what it became. The volunteers were sort of let go, I believe, and there was a bit of a boycott. Not as far as i know. But what i did for it was make a weekly task on sunday with 3 checkpoints on it. It is anoying to not see the task during the rest of the week, but it is something. Also you could combine it with a habit that resets weekly to track the progress. Trying some methods.
