1. Re: Public parking in Cruz Bay. 4 years ago. Save. Public parking is fairly limited and to me is not that secure except mongoose. I always park at slims next to tap and still. It’s wide open and very secure. There’s also where the old lumberyard used to be that has a big lot. Both cost $10-20 a day.

Snowbird. I have wonderful opportunity to do snowbird adventure (retire early, live where I grew up, go somewhere else). Part time both. Smiles. Want somewhere on beach, where I can leave windows open at night, with warm, friendly people who welcome me in... for 6 months. I've looked at USVI, BVI, Puerto Rico, and FL.This will be our first trip to St. John and the USVI.We are staying at Gallow Point. Aside from driving around the island is there any practical need for a jeep while we are there? I've rented from Amalie several times I usually book 3-4 months out and I usually get a confirmation email between 1 and 4 weeks prior to arrival to confirm flights and arrival times. Seaside Vista is a private villa, not sure if 2 singles in the second room.Bougainvillea (the one in Cruz Bay) or anything at Battery Hill would work too. Carvel Rock off St John is maybe what you're thinking of but (a) you have to find a boat with an experienced captain who'll take you there and (b) the water has to be flat as a pancake to get you close enough to climb out onto the rock - no beach, just a very big, steep rock. 6.
